European Coatings Show / 25–27 March 2025 in Nuremberg

The European Coatings Show 2025 in Nuremberg provided an excellent platform for the ProChem Group to present itself – following its recent structural expansion – as a strong and broadly positioned partner for the chemical industry.
Dr. Roman Denk and Dr. Ralf Findeis showcased the company’s comprehensive service portfolio, which ranges from complex multi-step custom syntheses to grinding, sieving, drying, and compaction of solids, as well as mixing, distillation, pastillation, and extraction processes.
Numerous conversations with existing customers emphasized the trust in the long-standing partnerships with the ProChem Group and offered the opportunity to discuss new projects and requirements. At the same time, many new contacts were established – particularly innovative companies expressed strong interest in ProChem’s flexible capabilities and its newly acquired synthesis expertise.
One of the next opportunities to meet the ProChem Group in person will be at Chemspec Europe in Cologne on 4–5 June 2025, Hall 5.2, Booth 5U50 – with fresh ideas, proven expertise, and plenty of room for personal exchange.
Stop by – we look forward to the conversation!
European Chemical Partnering am 12. Februar 2025 in Frankfurt

At the European Chemical Partnering on February 12th 2025 at the DECHEMA building in Frankfurt, the Head of Sales Dr Christian Steidl presented the ProChem Group as a high-tech synthesis partner for large corporations as well as start-up companies. In addition to ProChem GmbH with its sites in Dieburg, Oberthal, Lorsch and Rodgau, two plants in the Höchst Industrial Park, which were previously part of Weylchem Innotec, have belong to the ProChem Group since February 2025: The former Hoechst AG high-pressure technology centre in building C487 will now operate as ‘ProChem SynTec GmbH’ and will continue to offer hydrogenation up to 200 bar. The former Hoechst pilot plant in building G831, which specialised in organometallic chemistry and low-temperature syntheses at up to -100 °C, now operates under the name ‘ProChem InnoTec GmbH’. ProChem GmbH has further chemical laboratory, pilot and production capacities of over 1000 tonnes per product at its Dieburg and Oberthal sites. Here, work is carried out in accordance with ISO 9001 and cosmetics GMP standards. Another main contract service at the Oberthal site in Saarland is vacuum paddle drying. Micronisation, sieving, mixing and repackaging of chemicals are carried out in Lorsch, Hesse, south of Darmstadt. The new site in Rodgau, south of Hanau, specialises in food ingredients and offers mixing services, spray drying and compacting.
In addition to 20-minute initial meetings with potential new cooperation partners, there were also several presentations and panel discussions on current challenges in the industry. With the CEOs Dr Christian Kohlpaintner (Brenntag SE) and Dr Hans Bohnen (Röhm GmbH), the ECP initiator Dr Holger Bengs from BCNP Consultants GmbH discussed expected raw material price developments and challenges in the recycling of chemical industry products.
The ProChem Group will present its capabilities on June 4th and 5th 2025 at Chemspec in Cologne in hall 5.2 at the booth 5U50.
